April Phillips teched for pushing a Vandy player into the photogs at the end of the court after a play. She also has two personals and is now on the bench.

jence rhoads has been fabulous today. one of my favorite points to watch. and every time i see tuomi i love her just a little more. wish she could play 40 minutes!

Phillips did push her, though Marsh did sell it a bit.

i hope vandy wins cuz they would then meet the zags in the sweet 16. *that*, imo, would be a great match up, size-wise and every other way, too. Smile

oh me too, i'm dying to see a vandy-zags matchup. jence rhoads vs. courtney vandersloot. point guard heaven! and two teams full of hustle and heart, it'd be a great one.

Vandy is perhaps one of the most likable programs in the country and Melanie Balcomb has earned so much respect for what she is able to accomplish.

When your team is synonymous with the NCAA tournament and repeatedly gets to the Sweet Sixteen the way she has found a way to do without any major stars, you have to get some props.

Watching her teams, they are always balanced and execute beautifully while sticking to a game plan.

They deserve all the good that comes to them.

Unfortunately they keep getting beat by teams with good athletes. They need to find a slew of really good athletes who can handle the school academically (the way Stanford has) if they're ever going to get deep into the tournament consistently.

Didn't matter. They got a good look at both the initial shot and the putback. They just didn't go down.

Vandy lost another big game because the other team had better athletes and wore them out at the end.
