...of particularly outstanding performances by individuals in the tourney thus far? For me, Alysha Clark did a lot to quiet any detractors she may have in their loss to MSST. Her points and rebounding were pretty amazing, given her height disadvantage.

Also, I REALLY thought Courtney Vandersloot was awesome. I've never seen her play before. She and Friesen both struck me as Big Time players.

Courtney Pilypaitis (?) from VT was pretty, cool, too. I haven't seen much of her, but I'm getting the impression she tends toward streakiness....??

Prahalis...Wow. Her passing is incredible.

Dawn Evans JMU looked good all around. Runs the floor well.

The Southern band rocks!

Klein from Cleve State was pretty damn good, I'd say. I liked the story about how she tried her darnedest to get a scholarship to Notre Dame, and now she was playing them.

Anybody see Celeste Hoewisch from Green Bay? Dangeroo, that child has got MOVES...small, wiry and fast.

Jene Morris from SDSU is amazing and if no WNBA team gives her a look I would have to start wondering what they are looking for. She reminds me a lot of Swoopes in her collegiate days. Long, lanky, smooth and pure. Played amazingly tonight.

OT kind of- there is so much talent in the college game that it is a shame that many seniors won't get to play in the w due to there being fewer w teams and less room on the teams that do exist. Sad

That should've been billed the game of NotreDame vs Kailey Kline

Damn she was awesome

Anna Martin of DePaul. Much more of an all around game than I remembered.

Morris has had 2 first round games in NCAA play, and I believe has scored 30 in each. Very impressive player.

And led her team to a win in both of them. Impressive indeed.

OGS moment: Coco Hart for St. John's, with a double-double off the bench. Given that usually my reaction to Coco coming into the game is "oh, shit, we're fucked", this was a pleasant surprise.

Think even those first games shot to hell the idea that mediocrity has overtaken WBB, vs increasing parity. Cool
