5-0 in the first round so far. Look out Middle Tennessee!

Both good teams and good game so far.
Think Middle is more disciplined and they are gamers - Mississippi State SHOULD win if both have equal effort but they have a penchant for blowing up and beating themselves...Middle is a team that will definitely take advantage of any off moments.
Of course if Clark goes unconscious she is a game changer regardless.
Guess I am in a no lose - want the SEC to win every game they play but I do like Middle and the way they play so would be a nice win for their program.

MTSU is repeating the late collapse that it had against another MSU in the first round last year. MSU on a 9-0 run to tie it with under a minute left.

And Mississippi State takes the lead. Then MTSU turns it over and MSU has the ball with under 20 seconds left.

The NCAA needs to add the two fouls in the last minute rule

Shouldn't have mattered. MTSU has flat-out choked.

Then the refs give it to MSU. It was absurd - the three calls in the last minute...not giving Clark the basket and one. Not calling Mokongo for the foul on the next play. Not calling the walk. The worst was the first - not giving Clark the 'and one'. I really hate it when the refs decide it in the last minute.

Not calling the walk. Not calling the foul when MTSU finally DOES try to foul. DAMNIT.

You can only blame the refs so much. When you have a 9-point lead with 4 minutes left, you should win, especially if you have MTSU's experience.

That's really no excuse to let the refs off with blown calls. Especially when basketball is a "game of runs".

Its not the refs fault that MTSU did not rebound in the second half.
MTSU should know that you cannot win in March without rebounding!
Its just that simple!!!

The SEC is what other conferences wish they could be.

Sorry, despite their sorry ass showings on both the men's and women's sides this year, I still like the Big East better.

That's great that you LIKE the Big East better, but SEC has long been the queens of the women's college game. The 2010 tourney solidifies it.

That's called a personal preference. The SEC is showing itself to be a much deeper conference than the Little East.

There's still only been one SEC team that's won the big one. The BEast has two.
