Iowa as an 8 seed. I'm shocked but delighted.

The KC bracket is so ridiculously easy. Rolling Eyes Congrats on a FF appearance, Big Twelve.

Interesting. DePaul as one of the last teams in is a bit of a surprise to me.

Iowa gets a pretty big bump up in the seeding from the RPI (not uncommon for an at large in the 40s). That's an interesting game with Rutgers from a lot of different angles.

Also interesting that the committee chose not to follow its principle of avoiding rematches in the first two rounds, but that's long been one of the least-followed principles.

Surprised that UALR got in. And agreed, KC is easy.

Apparently the committee did not downgrade OKSt based on Riley's suspension.

I thought for sure Okie St. would get a 5 or 6 because of that Riley suspension and I'd mark them on my bracket as an upset, but now they got a 4 and I don't think I'll continue down that route. Maybe I need to learn more about Chattanooga.

Tennessee's path seems the toughest of the number 1s so far.

What a pathetic ass tournament so far. Rolling Eyes The committee is too preoccupied with story lines and not focused in enough on actual basketball match-ups. Fuck this.

So much hype for a player who's going to get shut down by those Congalese players.

The committee was very good to mid-majors.

Green Bay, Fresno, and UALR - way too much love for the minor leagues....and how the hell does UNC deserve a bid?

Also the infinite wisdom of putting Stanford and UConn on the same side...

Classic UTenn which gets one of the easiest roads...other than Baylor. That one should be fun.

The WNIT lists UWGB as the automatic berth for the Horizon League - guess they'll need to update that Smile.

You do realize that Tennessee and Uconn are on the same side of the bracket right?

I guess that is why it is going to be easy for TN to get to the finals... Very Happy

Honestly, Carolyn Peck makes me want to toss up my dinner.

And UConn FINALLY has a chance to get some revenge against Iowa State... Twisted Evil
