Maybe we should just have a one-on-one contest. lol. Should be a fun matchup especially since that was MTSU's only league loss.

Alysha Clark set the tournament record for single game scoring on Sunday with 40 points.

In the first semifinal on Monday, Chastity Reed scored her 41st point at the 3:39 mark of a 35 point blowout to set the new single game scoring record.

Two hours later in the second semifinal yesterday, Clark scored 44 points to take back the scoring record.

Alysha Clark set the tournament scoring record last year with 92 points. That record will be broken about five minutes after tip-off as Clark currently has 84 points this tournament and Reed has 75 points so far this tournament.

All tied up at the half 32-32.

Alysha Clark already has 21 points and 8 rebounds.

Chastity Reed has been held in check by Jackie Pickel, the Sun Belt Defensive POY. Reed has 4 points and 2 rebounds on 2-11 shooting.

Looks like Reed's getting started now. Real barn-burner going on in Hot Springs. Great job by the MTSU fans getting out there- I can hear the "Let's Go Blue" chants going.

Game is way more exciting than watching the UConn men get pasted by St. Johns.

Arky-LR is too small to really threaten a high seed, but if they get in and get matched with the right #5 they could steal a win.

Tournament is being held 45 minutes from UALR campus. Nice 6.5 hour drive for LR fans.

Too exciting for me. I'd gladly settle for a nice 15-0 run for Middle to close the game out. Shocked

I'm following on Gametracker, but even without video I have to agree.

She's got, what, 120 points so far in less than 3 games?

BTW, for those who are watching, what is UALR doing to try to defend her? Have they considered leg irons?

Triple-teaming her and helping her out of bounds seems to have helped. I don’t know how she’ll do against bigger opposition, but WOW. She establishes position with the kind of authority I’d like to see out of Kia Vaughn.

They've tried just about everything else, none of it very effectively.

What I’m really liking about this is that it’s showing that there’s depth in the Sun Belt. After Western Kentucky declined, I think everyone started thinking that the Sun Belt was a one-bid conference, and they’re really not.

If Middle Tennessee wins, I think UALR may be a tough sell as an at large, although it's not impossible.

Curious about that myself. Had to look this up as MTSU crashes the boards so well, so here are some numbers.
LSU 16 pts- 20 reb
Tenn 23-10
Xavier 11-8
Kentucky 13-9(win)

Also 21 games(this year) with 4 or more offensive rebounds.

From the game tracker, it looks like it's getting away from UALR now - 68-61, under 2:00 left.

Edited to add: And as soon as I say that, UALR scores 5 points in a row to get within 2.
