Is it any shock that they make the call for Ohio State?

Lavender is greedy. If that were me, I'd miss that shot on purpose and let the scramble ensue.

Redic. OSU sucks and is gonna lose in 1st or 2nd round. They would lost to the Top 8 in the Big East.

Exactly. Why else would they be celebrating so hard after beating up a crap team?

Imagine if Griner went up against Prahalis. Now THAT would be fun. Wink

(Yes, I know that's in poor taste but what the hell)

I wonder if Prahalis will mature like Latta has. Right now, Sammy's looking like the female equivalent of Jason "J-Dub" Williams.

Can Ohio State be in Tennessee's bracket? Not that they would advance far enough to actually face Tennessee, but the thought of seeing Sassy Sammy running into Kelly Cain or Alyssa Brewer is comical.

Suspect calls thoughout the game against both teams. Also some non-calls both ways. Unless, of course, one hates OSU, in which case the bad calls all went against Iowa. Rolling Eyes

you're right about latta, bbfan. makes you wonder about coaching influences. prahalis is closely coached by debbie black who seems intent on giving her a big head saying she's the best point guard 'ever'. its one thing to be fiery and competitive, but its a whole 'nother when you allow a player to act like a fool and call it 'heart'.

Maybe they'll send OSU to Seattle so I can cheer against them!

But the guy on the Huskies game thinks we're going to get Baylor.

When I see Prahalis I do think of Latta... but Sammy doesn't ignore her dominate post player like Ivory tended to do.

The worst call was the last one against Iowa. It was so close.....reminded me of last year against Purdue when OSU was also saved by the ref's whistle.

I'd rather the game have gone to overtime, where I still think OSU would have prevailed because Iowa was looking raggged most of the second half.

But to make that call with less than two seconds left....hmm, not so sure about that.

The worst call was the ridiculous one on Kach that should have been called on the greasy princess. It essentially took Iowa's best player out of the game.

Great game Hawkeyes!!!!! Excellent effort and best of luck in the NCAA's.

Great job Sammy and Jantel and everybody!!! All of the losers hate you......and that's what its all about.

You are the best in the Big 10........ and many in the Big 10 can't deal with it.
Many others think the Big 10 isn't worth a cup of warm spit...........we will soon see.

Go Bucks!!!!!

i don't have a team in the big 10. don't have any reason to care one way or another about who wins or loses. so that theory can be set aside. yet, after seeing osu games on tv this year, i've developed a real dislike for osu. and i attribute that to prahalis and prahalis alone. the rest of the team is meh, but she's a grandstander who loves to call attention to herself while trying to show up players on opposing teams. she's going to rub someone the wrong way once too often and find herself with a rung bell. her coaches are doing her no favors by not reigning her in.

Congrats, bacabuck! Your two-man team needed the refs to bail their sorry asses out so that the Big Ten wouldn't look like a complete joke! Good luck with yet another pre-Sweet 16 flame out to cap off yet another disappointing postseason performance for your joke of a program! Will this be the year that your "fanbase" tells Grandpa to kick rocks?

Oh, and tell that circus midget PG of yours to keep her head up because Joy Cheek would like nothing more than to ring her bell two times over. Cheers!

bacabuck, what was your response to the Prahalis hissy fit that should've garnered a technical?

The hilarious thing about this epic collapse is that Ohio State isn't even that talented. They have two very good--not great--players that are protected by the referees.

Amen.

And I saw it up close and personal

That's a big reason why these players choose to go to secondary schools like O$U and UNC as opposed to going to the top schools like UConn and Tennessee. They can get away with quite a bit at those other schools AND they're always going to have the ball in their hands. Latta was an absolute demon as a junior, but she was rarely called out for it because her antics were misinterpreted as "heart" and "hustle". If she were 6-4, she'd have been vilified by the same people (especially Debbie Antonelli) that kissed her ass during all those games.

[bacabuck] You're a loser! You're a loser if you don't worship the great Sammy Prahalis and the Buckeyes! They are great and you are not! Keep hating! We still love you, Sammy! You're the best point guard, EVER! No, you're the best point guard EVAR! EVAR! EVAR! [/bacabuck]

Does anyone think Latta went as far as Prahalis does? I definitely don't.
