Pedersen making a name for herself tonight both on offense and defense. Her versatility is really a key for Stanford.

Pedersen, a frosh, has been the key to our success ALL year, but the dimwits liek Debbie A. didn't know it.

Some people said it would take her a bit to adapt to college hoops. nah!, i knew right from the beginning she was going to be this type of player and that nobody but Stanford was her priority.

congrats Kayla

[quote="jersey_stupka"]

where did harper and langhorne disappear to in this game?

Didn't you see, that was them being smothered by the very under rated Appel and Pederson Wink

So happy for the Pac 10...it's about freakin' time!

22 to 10. That's the stat that sticks out in my mind the most. One team moved the ball around extraordinarily well to set up its players for scores while the other was rather stagnant on offense, marked by ball domination from the perimeter.

Should be to no one's surprise that Stanford won the game by 11.

Hrmmm. Which band was playing the Mario song?

It was Zelda, but I couldn't tell who was playing it. Entertaining, though.

I really enjoyed both games last night, but this one was jaw-dropping. Perhaps it was the contrast to all the bricks thrown up in the LSU-NC match-up, but that blistering first half was unreal. No one was missing. And watching Stanford's offense click along was inspiring.

As one who doesn't follow WCBB very avidly throughout the year, games like this are what make tournament time so exciting. Plus the West Coast was represented. Wink

That would be the Stanford band. They're pretty entertaining.

The Cal Band ain't bad either.

I'm obviously partial to the UW Band who's catalogue has included Livin On a Prayer, a Walk This Way/Dream On medley, Fat Bottom Girls, Smells Like Teen Spirit and Cum On Feel the Noize in recent years.
