| I think most of them aren't actually doing tipoff until closer to 7:30. ESPN has the very top seeds starting earlier so that if those games become blowouts, they still had about a half hour of the marquee names on before they're forced to switch to another game (pretty clearly against their will).

Bad passing too. They're not valuing the ball enough.
Edit: Some of it just seems like sync errors. The person who receives the ball isn't ready for it. Is there such a thing as making the extra pass too many? That's what some of it seems like. Crash the layup. Don't keep passing the ball up like it's a hot potato.  |

The ASU-Duke game was the last to tip and that was around 7:20-7:25 so they weren't that staggered unfortunately. As I type this, there are 3:23, 7:31, 5:49 and 7:26 left in the half in each game - not that much difference.

I wouldn't doubt that's part of the reason. I have hesitated to get Full Court b/c of the cost and wondering how much I'd watch it. Watch I'll go ahead and buy it for the first and second round games and then I won't even be around to watch the games (i.e. traveling to watch Marquette play if they are so fortunate to make the NCAA's next year). I've also heard of many people buying it and then it doesn't work for them.

ASU/Duke looks like a good game if very defensive.
I'm sort of boggled by ODU/UVA. I thought it would be a close game; I didn't expect Virginia to be behind by 10 points.
Of course, Virginia is having a horrible shooting day... 26% v. ODU's 46%.
35-23, 3 min left in 1st half. |
