Ok...stepped away for a sec so missed what they said at the start of the second half about the ORU player's injury. So what's the diagnosis/prognosis?

Not much. Just that she came out on crutches and smiling again.

Um wow. Broke her nose, tore her ACL and some other injury last year and then tried to come back out and play again but her knee -popped- out.

Shocked

Ummmmm. She's... dedicated.

Very late. Tennessee has come out very lackluster. They've gotta come out ready for Purdue especially since they are playing in West Lafayette. How does a #1 get screwed into playing a real road game against a #9? Rolling Eyes

Happened last year too in Pittsburgh, and the Vols got through that one with no problem. They should be able to do the same against Purdue, but they'll have to play more intense than they are tonight.

Why are they still showing TN/ORU? It's a blowout now. Where are the other games? Every game is a blowout?

Texas is blowing out Minny. Last I checked, Virginia was on the verge of blowing out UCSB. I think ASU/Temple is the closest one, but it's not really a nailbitter.

Oh man, ASU's style of defense is so distinctive. Such a pain - literally - to play. Laughing

Nice to see them playing well though.

I've been able to watch the ASU game from the tipoff. Is this because I'm in Arizona? Has anybody else watched the entire game?

Nope. Not at all. I didn't get it until after TN finished up beating on ORU. Razz

That was a nice shot by the Temple player though.

There's a guard on ASU's team that's pretty short with blond hair in a ponytail. Who is that? I remember her from the Cal-ASU game.

I also watched the entire game. My cousin in AZ but without Cox cable was getting the TN game on ESPN2. My fiance in MA was getting TN -- THANK GOD I am home on spring break and can actually see ASU play!

GO VOLS!!!!

(hope the young lady from Oral Roberts isn't hurt too bad..that sucks to happen at the start of the game)

If the officials would REALLY have done their job, they would have accessed a technical four against the Tennessee cheerleaders and had them ejected. Ther rules are VERY CLEAR as to wehere they can be and where their crap can be and they chose to ignore them. Considering that young lady got a serious injury fom Tennessee's flouting of the rules, ejection would have been at leasst the right thing to do.

I can only imagine what would have happened to Oral Roberts if their cheerleaders caused someone, like , let's say, Parker to suffer an unjury.
