Come on LSU, you are not too far behind, and if that stupid call on Fowles was not called you would be only 5 points behind. GO LSU!

32-28 UCONN.

UCONN is overplaying the perimeter with aggressive D. Good: they're harassing the passers and getting some steals. Bad: Leaving interior open for Fowles if they can get it in.

Wow. Les Miles at the LSU game. That's pretty cool.

34-28. UCONN leads, didn't get the last shot off.

Mucinex halftime report. I'm sorry, but I keep mishearing it as mucus and going "eeeew."

Edit: Going to class. Hope someone keeps posting thoughts on the game. Thanks! Surprised

From the sound of it, Rebecca Lobo is the only useful person in the place from ESPN. That's bad, considering who's saying that.

I think the routine of Geno exploding and being held back by the female assistant coaches is real, real stale. What a freaking baby! Rolling Eyes

Actually I agreed with them on that one. You have to give the offensive player that space to pivot. I thought Montgomery was too close and unfortunately got her chin checked.

I didn't see the first half, did Charde play? Has Renee stunk the whole game?

I missed some of it but I *think* Charde has been in foul trouble. Anyone?

I can't remember the last time I've seen a UConn team that gets so rattled in close games. The last 4-5 offensive possessions have just been mind boggling Confused

Come on Huskies!

She picked up two quick fouls in the first half, and the third right after the half IIRC.

Renee played MUCH better in the first half.

Have you watched them since Diana left? Wink

Honestly, this year..they would have dominated had the ACL remix not happened. But since it has, they've been put in a position where if one of the big three is off (Renee) they are in a load of trouble, but at least this team has actually won a few close games.

Just came on - Is it just me or was that Renee's 4th foul the worst call of all time? I don't know how you can foul someone who runs over you from behind as the ball is coming off the rim.

Sylvia Fowles is an absolute monster. Even though the guards are shooting pretty well, why they don't get it to her with McClaren defending on every possession is beyond me. Oh well. Go Huskies! Laughing

Right? For both teams, it should be Moore/Fowles, Fowles/Moore the rest of the game.

Sky fans you are lucky! Of course LJ is still better, but Fowles is a beast tonight!
