Heading to OT as Maryland looks to escape again. Florida State was up 73-65 with 2:59 to play but it was all tied at 76 at the end of regulation.

Yeah, that game was way more exciting than I was expecting it to be. Once Haper had to go to the bench with two fouls (one real, one ridiculous) after only 7 minutes of the first half had passed, things became pretty struggly. But I can't say I ever really thought Maryland would lose. They had that determined look, and so now we're undefeated at home this season.

The big emotional focus of saying goodbye to those seniors was huge, and over 16,000 people showed up for it. Brenda was there (only one week after the twins were born), and Crystal's jersey looks just lovely up there in the rafters next to the National Championship banner.

Ok so Maryland is a good team in the sense they always find a way to pull it together and win these nail biting and overtime affairs......but are they a good team since they put themselves in these situations. The Law of Averages says eventually a close game will not go their way (maybe Tourney time??)

Way to go Turps, sure wish we could have seen that game! Maybe one day we will be able to see any women's college basketball game we want on TV. At least Division 1 top 25.
