for all of Men and Women's basketball games around the world at all levels...i think that on the defensive side of the ball, taking a charge should be counted as a steal for the defensive player who takes the charge since the charging violation counts as a turnover for the offensive player who commits the charge....reward the defensive player who is sacrificing their body as you punish the offensive player for being out of control.
