Okay, I only just got in-- have been watching only from the 11:28 mark. But it seems clear that Duke is competitive in their half court set, and giving the game away when they try to run. Anyone else see it that way?

Duke certainly has found a way to turn the ball over or not execute on every single possession in which they have a chance to pull ahead or back even. It's getting down right atrocious. I don't know if it is inexperience from J. Thomas, but if it is, then Wanisha Smith needs to have the ball in her hands.

If this is a learning experience game, fine. But this team is on the verge of turning a corner, but with every turnover, they take a step back. It's time to improve the mental toughness of this team. It's time for big time execution.

That was some push running right into the player full run knocking her out of bounds. Wonder what she will be like in the Pro's.

Why does Tennessee think that Abby Waner is a punching bag? This is ludicris.

Parker has been big time from the free throw line - a very impressive step up from prior seasons.

Bjorklund's three was a dagger. Talk about your all time backfires!

WANER!!! Shocked Shocked

What a clutch shot, especially after throwing cement blocks up there the entire night. Wow!

Tied at 64 w/ 39 secs left!

Chante Black needed to force Parker to the middle - towards help. Instead, Parker gets a lay-in and Tenn should take this win.

Barely pulled this one out of their asses, but Duke could have had this game. 6 TO's by CP, the only saving grace was she got the winning bucket.

Parker at the line, looks like UT will get the W, but I think the stats will show that it was a winnable game for Duke.

Why the hell would you pass the ball to Chante Black on the inbounds. Ridiculous.

WTF was that last play by Duke? Confused They could have gotten a better look than that. At least from halfcourt Laughing

Tennessee didn't look good this game, but a nice win on the road for the Lady Vols. Parker bails them out again.

Good win for the Lady Vols, but they shouldn't have been tied with Duke that late in the game (Duke is good, but...)

Have to wonder if Coach G would've come up with something better than that...

Absolutely, it was. What if that crazy shot by Bjorklund doesn't go in? And WTF was that on the last play of the game, didn't Duke have a timeout?

I bet Tennessee is very relieved to have this one.

Also, I think the Duke coach should have called a timeout after Parker put the Vols up two and came up with something better than that 27 foot bomb from Waner Rolling Eyes They didn't necessarily need a three there. Of course I'd have jumped through my roof had she made it but still...

IMO best game of the year so far. It'll be interesting to see what the Duke fans think.

I was wondering the same thing...they had two left, according to ESPN's little ticker above the team name at the bottom of the screen.

I thought the refs were poor all over. They didn't call some stuff, then they called some crap on both sides that just flat weren't close. It was pretty even from that standpoint, though. They sucked, but at least they sucked evenly.

I thought Bjorklund's shot in the face of everyone in Cameron Indoor was just too sweet. Fans should know what they're getting. You don't want her to shoot that shot, in a hurry or not, because she's got a good chance to drain the thing. And that time, she did. In your face!

Good game, good finish. Then I got to listen to App State's men squeak by Elon. The women blasted Wofford, 92-79, so it's a sweep! Definitely a good day.

About to get underway -- GO VOLS!

This is the thing with Tennessee, whenever they play bad, they are always in position to win games. To me, the difference in this game was one thing.....Tennessee has an All-American and Duke didn't down the stretch.

The Box score shows that although Duke committed just 19 fouls to UT's 17, UT was 17-22 at the line, while Duke was 7-12. Tells much about where Duke's fouls were committed-- on the rebound/putback, as UT outrebounded them 40-29. Explains where UT won the game, as Duke had four more field goals. Bottom line, UT was too big for Duke.
