I figured I'd get it started early. I'm playing ball today at 3, but I'll be more excited for this game. I'm so pumped I can't even wait. And this is the first time I'll be able to see a Husky game at school this season.

Hopefully Britt Hunter is suiting up and ready to go... a quality 15 minutes from her would be very nice.

Hmmm....This game should be a battle. I am looking forward to seeing the matchup.

The team will have to focus on the game and not on the players they have lost for the season!!

Before Kalana and Mel got hurt, this was an easy pick IMO. However, now, I'm not so sure.

Geno Auriemma boldly stated on his TV show that "UConn will win".

I wouldn't be surprised to see Hunter listed in the starting lineups in a few minutes... this is vintage Geno. I could see him trying to throw Hatchell off by having Hunter ready to go tonight.

UNC is just trouncing UConn's frontcourt. Breland/Larkins/Pringle are pretty much scoring at will.

Montgomery keeping UConn in it.

Despite the t/o's, its been really fun basketball to watch.

... The music is so loud! Is it supposed to be like that? That we can't hear whatever Jim Calhoun is trying to say?

If UConn can get on the defensive glass they might have a chance. Or if they can make layups.... Rolling Eyes

Wow. Tina Charles is really, really thin. UCONN is having a lot of trouble with UNC's defense although it doesn't help that a lot of these chip shots are being missed.

Maya Moore is awesome. O_O She's doing a lot of things and finishing -- which seems to be a problem atm.

Maya Moore is poppin Rolling Eyes Mark Jones is so corny.

Leave Kaili in, she is doing more than Tina Charles who is playing softer than Scotts Tissue.

Guess I don't get why they go after Claytor on defense. She looks like she'd be perfect fodder for an And 1 mix tape.

Getting rid of Latta has put the focus on their perpetually scary frontcourt. As long as DeGraff + Lucas keep on deferring to those forwards, UNC should be decent.

"I don't care about turnovers ya'll! I want 100 possessions! And Ivory Latta, even though you refuse to pass the ball to an All-American center and an All ACC Forward and need a step-stool to get down from curbs--you're the best PG in AMERICUH."

Some random thoughts:

I am really enjoying this game.

It's sponsored bu Mucinex... that's kind of funny.

Lobo interviewing Geno...he isn't happy.

Kaili had 3 fouls, not the 2 that she was listed with, that's why she came out of the game. We really miss the experience of Mel and Kalana in this game. I think Tina has played a great half. She is doing some serious board work. Renee went completely cold after all those 3's and this is the worst game I've ever seen from Maya Moore. This would be different if we had Hunter.

Bart, I said that before Kaili got called for a few questionable fouls and before Tina finally WOKE THE F UP. Hopefully we can just ride Tina out to a victory.

Oh, and lets just leave Spinderella -- I mean Charde on the bench. Completely useless. She had an open j but then started whirling and twirling down the lane for no reason at all.

I still think UNC will give UConn the chance to win this game due to the lack of discipline.

Tina Charles is solid but seems so soft-spoken.
