This game's on in Seattle. Woohoo. Never want to miss a game between these two...

So far ASU is playing maybe their best defensive game of the year, and leads 31-20 at half. I don't know why Stanford doesn't get the ball to Appel every time down the floor.

Wiggins needs a weave-ologist. She's looking a little Arcain-ish.

Stanford starts the 2nd half strong.

She's a great player, that last shot notwithstanding. But on that last play it looked like Briann was expecting contact and didn't get any and it threw her off. It looked like the red sea parted--definitely not the defense stanford wanted in that situation.

how did everyone miss the stanford shot clock violation w/ 2:33 left, on that shitshot by pederson in the lane?

stanford eventaully scored on the 'extra' possession.

I thought it was, I was not entirely sure. I guess I was right in thinking it was. The ball never hit the rim.

yea, I wondered about that, if it hit the rim. Gotta go back and look at it.

a couple of things

The shot by Wiggins at 1:08 over January was awesome. Put us by 5

The push off by Wiggins was BS as was a call on Harmon on January before that. Both plays gave them 5 pts.

The ball never hit the rim and the ensuing score may have been the shot that pushed Stanford over the edge towards the win.

ASU needs more focus...more later.
