Please don't laugh. I did it freehand with the mouse, and, well, there's a reason my other handle is Scribbler.

I had a blast doing this. Guessed on a couple of them, and I'm not completely sure I'm right. But it was worth a try and well worth the geekout.

It's old school, though- lookit the jersey. I think it predates Becky's dramatic plunge into immaturity.

Awesome bibb.

Every Monday and Wednesday evening myself and two other parents do the crossword in the day's paper while we sit at the kids' basketball practice.

Think you can have a new one for me every Monday and Wednesday? Laughing

hey everyone.
i'm NOT playing the game...i just find i become obsessive and it takes up WAY too much of my time. i am playing the very lame triple threat game, but i've recently plunged below the 90th percentile, so i'm not particularly excited about it.

now, as far as ms. beckytrice, i did get the 'memo,' albeit somewhat late, and although i grant that she's been the cause of some problems lately (i'm still haunted by her 2 turnovers at the end of the detroit collapse/game, and i've been screaming with the rest of you that she should only be the 2, and should just sit out there on the wing waiting to land 3's -- unless the opponent's in foul trouble, in which case she has my permission to take it in through the paint), i am not as ready to kick her to the curb as some. i just like her. i don't wear her jersey, but i appreciate her effort and her accomplishments. also, that is my very first successfully loaded avatar, so it's really just a start. what i need to do is get a photo of my kooky cat lana (sebibb please testify here) that is small enough to fit the space allowed...and i just haven't gotten around to that. besides, come on, she just looks so pretty...and THAT she's good at! (plus, she can carry a tune, which is more than i can say for the rest of the team! OMG!!)

now, back to the important question - has anyone worked out any of those puzzles from sunday's op-ed page??? i need help with some - they're makin' me a bit kooky. that said, i'm proud to say i was able to do several on my own, so i'm willing to provide help as well. or perhaps i'm the only lunatic who was crazy enough to tear my hair out for a few hours trying to finish them to get some silly answer that affects no major improvement in my life anyway.... javascript:emoticon('Shocked')
Shocked

go liberty. fire blaze.

yeah. that was damn cute.

i agree it's not time to kick her to the curb. i guess i've just had such high expectations of her, so i have been really disappointed by her attitude -- much more so than her play. i just miss the becky of old. as my friend (who's been to all of two games) observed, she's pretty, but not when she's making all those faces.

i loves me some lana. one of only two cats i really love, because i'm a dog person. wait till you see her - she's special. more special than becky.

I'm still not sure I understand this clue. There was a game in Albany?

This one was also a little confusing. I guess you meant starting their first full season with their current team.
