Vandy wins 67-59. If Jawja don't get it together, it might be possible they won't make the big dance this year?

They've got a pretty tough remaining schedule for a team that has limited athleticism in the backcourt (something that spells trouble for an SEC team). I see four "should win" games left on the schedule. The "50-50" games are marked with a "*". The "probably won't win" games are marked with a "**". So yes, there is a chance that UGA won't make the NCAA Tournament. That chance, however, is very slim. They're a name team, and name teams on the bubble usually make it in.

Having said that, I don't see Georgia winning double-digit conference games this season nor do I see them getting higher than a 6 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Wins over Georgia Tech, Florida State, and Southern Cal mean nothing if you're supposedly a Top 10 team.

Just looking at margins of victory vs non-BCS opponents, I thought UGA was ranked too high at #7 or #10. My guess is they are probably as good as many teams that would be ranked 32-64 but not top 20. Still they will likely make the tournament. My guess is if they were in the Big 12, they would be part of the multitude of good but not great teams. To UGA's credit, their worse loss in terms of ranking is probably to Xavier which I suspect should still be a tournament team.
