I couldn't agree more....and furthermore, not all these players are going to be starting for their team....I would think it would more satisfying to go to a lesser-known program and be the IMPACT player.....

No doubt EDD and other top players going to other schools would give the game a hint of parity, but Moore and EDD will be impact players right away, and Tina Charles will only get better this yr. TN is very good too and certainly not chopped liver, but imho UConn will be slightly better this year and significantly better the next 3 yrs, the same when Bird, Cash, AJ, DT were scary good and scary much better than the rest of the field. snore.

TN and UConn just can't win...

They quit playing = bad for the game...

They win the NC = bad for the game...

They land top recruits = bad for the game...

See the trend?

Maybe they should just get rid of their women's basketball programs. It's a no-win situation anyway. Laughing

I for one never said it was bad for the game that UConn and TN quit playing win a NC. As a fan of the game, I would find it more exciting to watch EDD play against Moore vs. with her.

Well, it's no guarantee that all of these top players will be staying for the duration at either Tenn or Uconn. So, they potentially could still be impact players at some other institute. It just stands to be seen how all of these loaded rosters will play out.

3 wins in a row, and an NC...and with Maya and EDD coming in...well, I don't know if she'll get that again for a while.

I don't know. Something tells me she won't finish her eligibility at UConn. Just a vibe I get, not a wish. I wish her luck and happiness, naturally, however and whenever she finds them.

Conflating many different people's arguments into one, I suppose this makes sense.

Of course, if it does seem like all of the top players are going to two schools, it seems even odder they aren't playing each other in the regular season.

I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it.....and I wish all these top recruits well....I just think it would be nice to see them spread out a bit across the land....because, in the end, I think that would make the college game more entertaining and unpredictable.....just my opinion, that's all. Cool

And we never truly know who is going to make an impact at the college game. High school is only part indication of what a player will do in college. I think other schools will still be on track to challenge Tennessee and Connecticut. They will just have to work harder.
