When a new coach comes in, realizes she has no point guard, it is time to play nice and beg.

Goddamnit. Nikki Jo better get her shit in gear this season, or it's gonna be a long way down after Kia graduates.

So you think GG begged? Maybe Cortijo had a change of heart.

Except that a coach of any other team other than a player's current one may not contact her for the purposes of recruiting or influencing the player in any decision regarding her NCAA basketball career. She can't even discuss basketball if they happen to meet by chance anywhere.
That is a major violation, and I haven't heard of any major violations by GG, but maybe you know more than I do.
It's just possible, since there was a fairly significant coaching change at Texas since Cortijo made her decision, that she decided to return on her own. I know that's novel, but it's really a decision she's entitled to make.

She made the decision to leave after GG was hired.

How do you know that? Yes, the decision was announced after GG was hired, but how do you know it was MADE after GG was hired?

It's been tough on Carla family-wise. Gail brings a different environment and atmosphere to the 40 that was previously seriously lacking. Family, responsibility and she doesn't blame her players.
Welcome back Carla!
