Solid 84-51 final score.

Strange boxscore though - 37% from 2 point land and 68% from 3 point land?! 25 TOs is a concern.

Team USA completes the preliminary round 3-0 in Group B after coasting past Lithuania, 90-50, on Saturday. The secondary-stage schedule is:

Monday, July 30 vs. Korea (1-2 in Group A)
Tuesday, July 31 vs. Spain (2-1 in Group A)
Wednesday, Aug. 1 vs. Slovak Republic (3-0 in Group A)

other winners today included AUS over CAN, Serbia over Brazil and Spain over China. btw, Spain, like the Americans, crushed Korea when they met in the preliminary round.

The Aussie U19 team has the reverse problem the U21s had - instead of having good guards and no posts, the U19 team has good posts and no guards. The posts' propensity to turn the ball over at ridiculous rates does not help either - the team averages more than 20 turnovers a game! Unless they get less sloppy and the guards find something more, I think they'll be lucky to medal.

not good for now, but bodes well for the future of AUS bb! once you get those good guards and those good posts playing on a single team...well! Very Happy

Team USA Wins again 84-60 behind Maya Moore's team-leading 24 points. Jantel Lavender also scored 14 pts and pulled down 11 boards.
