Update:

Quote:
Providence Everett Medical Center says Washington State University women's basketball coach June Daugherty is still in critical condition.

And the hospital released a statement from her husband Mike Daugherty saying she had a heart attack and is doing as well as can be expected. He thanks supporters for their concern.

That's good to see.

I guess she couldn't have picked a much better place to have it happen. That might have saved her life.

I hope she is well and can make it back. It would be a shame not to see her on the sidelines.

Do I like June as a coach, no. Do I have some respect for her as a person, yes. Would I wish this on anyone, NO F***ING WAY! Particularly having been an active fan of the program during both of the incidents with Kayla.

FYI, my comments about Mike in my quote were made before the cardiac episode June suffered.

Anytime you posted on this forum was to bash June Daugherty or KT and her family, now that something bad happened to one of them, you come on this board expressing your concern for them, You're nothing but a "F ***ING HYPOCRITE."

Well, she got a defibrillator installed....

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncw/news/story?id=2882113

Hopefully, she will be in full health when it comes time to the season. In the meantime, I want her to come back with a vengeance. I love a good underdog story and she has the goods to recruit a good team.

I have known June for years and wish her a speedy recovery. Thank goodness for the circumstances of the location and her daughter being with her to help save her life.
