Just after Merchant was hired, Gilbert said in an university release that she would remain at Michigan State and would continue in her role as recruiting coordinator.

Michigan State's incoming class is ranked among the top 20 in the nation.

"I can't tell you how happy and excited I am to be staying at Michigan State,'' Gilbert said in the university release. "The girls on the team want me to be here, they've expressed that, and that's what it is all about.'' Shocked

AnnMarie is an excellent choice for the job! She has the recruiting talent to get good kids to come and play at EMU!
