Heard this, and I hope it is not true. But, from a VERY reliable source...

Aubree Johnson's father was killed in an accident in San Diego. This is after her brother passed away earlier this year.

What the hell? My prayers are with her and her family. Isn't she getting married very soon?

It's really unbelievable. I know she has strong faith and great friends to support her, but really, how much can Aubree and her sister take in five months...?

I can only echo what others have said, and I certainly can't even begin to imagine what she's feeling. Does she have any other siblings?

One thing I've found helpful when I hear of things that just seem too much is to go and give blood. There's never a time when that doesn't help someone somewhere.

Just a thought...

That's a very good idea Hoops24/7. I think I'll try that this week. My condolences to the Johnson family.

May I echo caune's comments.

Aubree was stoic at the ASU Women's BB Banquet. She remained quite composed as friend Emily Westerberg was moved to tears.

May this classy young lady endure these tragedies, and may she and those she's touched be blessed.

Very sad for this family to have tragedy strike again. My mother informed me tonite a friend's college age daughter was killed in a head-on collision Saturday also caused by a drunk driver. That seems to be the issue mom is zeroing in on and really struggling with.

My heart sank when I read this in the Republic. Aubree was so strong at the banquet and it seemed like her faith had carried her through Jordan's death and now this.

My prayers are with her and her family. I know with her faith and friends she'll be alright.

I am still in shock.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Aubree and her family.
