Man... how do you not root for NC State. Just hearing the story a couple of seconds ago how Coach Yow says, despite her finger nails falling off (and you can see the multiple band-aids she's wearing to cover her finger tips Crying or Very sad ) she lives for the two hours she gets to be on the court.

It's heart breaking and inspiring at the same time.

Exactly. I can't imagine anyone other than a UConn fan not being for this coach and her team.

We're toast. We look like absolute shit right now. I don't know what the hell happened to our defense, but someone needs to find it.

They are riding this Yow and cancer story hard. I feel bad for her and it's an awful disease, but enough is enough.

Ok, my big love lost, but I'm glad I took time to develop some knowledge of NC State, Purdue, George Washington, and Arizona State over the past 2-3 years, 'cause I've some other good, hard-working teams to pull for.
Go Wolfpack!

I actually wish they'd quit talking about her illness in all it's detail, like her platelet count and all. It's making me sad.

The even more shocking stat is their rebounding advantage.

Man Kahdija Whittingdon's (spelling?) hustle, makes Erlana Larkins' look minuscule by comparison. Is there a place for her in the league?

Oh Dear...

As stated, I didn't want Uconn to play NC State..

Two #1 do not need to lose today..

I think there is. If she can be more consistent(like she has as of late), then she'd be a major prospect. Her jumping ability is amazing.

I came in late, but I had the impression that both teams were playing like they knew the game wouldn't be won in the first half.

Whittington is da bomb!
