Tough game for the affable Rodents. They'll face a not so affable crowd at ISU, averaging 9300 fans at non-conference home games. This is impressive and has to be close to top attendance in the NCAA Div. I.

Gopphers up early, 16-12. Both Gopher post players on the bench with two fouls...

Gopherfan, it's on Jazz 88.5fm in the Twin Cities metro.

You may not want to tune in now, though: the Cyclones have pulled way ahead, and the Gophers haven't scored for six minutes of game time. Ugly.

ISU has drawn superb crowds for years, haven't they? They're a fun team to watch-- fast, and (historically) given to launching three-pointers-- though tonight it sounds like the Cyclones are taking the Gophers apart in the paint.

Early fouls on Zoe and Ashley, putting both centers on the bench, took the Gopher offense out of sinc early. With Roysland cold from outside and Ellis-Milan missing inside, the Rodents just couldn't score.

They played a good defensive game.

ISU couldn't score either but they kept shooting threes until they made a few.
That was the difference I think.

ISU wins 67-57.

Lost by 10, but they'll work on what they need to work on and regroup and get ready for NDS in 12 days.

Yea, she got her first career double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Maybe let Campbell start over Knight. McCoy didn’t do so bad either she had 15 points and 1 turnover. What’s not good is Kelly having 8 turnover with only 9 points.
