Maryland still #1

LSU into the top 10

New Mexico, Marquette, and Nebraska in!

Still waiting for Ohio St. to lose so everyone can see how rediculously over-rated they are. There is no reason for them to be ahead of UT.

Polls are silly. Even with a loss, Tennessee has done more than Duke or Ohio State. Even with a loss, Purdue has done more than LSU, who has a loss to a team Purdue handled easily.

In my mind, ASU, Purdue and Baylor all rank ahead of LSU. But that is just me.

Why is LSU ranked that high anyway? Vanderbilt, Purdue, Baylor & Stanford(despite their record) should all be above LSU. Louisville is also ranked too high, another overrated team.

And why does South Florida only have 14 points. I consider them a very good team. Hopefully in time they'll get the respect they need and get into the top 25.

Good point. LSU is ranked above the Baylor team that beat them.

Lost in the shuffle is the fact that New Mexico is ranked. Shocked Why?

You're right. Polls are silly. I don't see LSU as a Top 10 team. Who did they beat to get that high? Ohio $tate is way overrated at #5. And yes, Duke is slightly overrated at #4. We'll find out if we deserve to be rated that high by the end of the week.

The Vols should be lower than 6th place.
