I don't have any. I have not seen either team play, just thought I'd start the thread where those who have, can discuss.

As much as I don't like Purdue, I think they stand a good chance of beating UConn, provided they haven't changed that much from last year.
But if Charde Houston has really picked up her game and Tina Charles and the supporting cast are much stronger than last year's crew, I give it to UConn.

I think from looking around the post, it's self evident.

I'll take Purdue in this one, it's a team sport but Geralds and Lindsay will be the two best players on the court and on the same team. UCONN will win if they get out to a big start, but I think the lack of a go-to player will hurt them against Seniors Geralds/Lawless and Junior Hilton.

Honestly, I really have no idea, it could go either way.
PS - Don't people know by now Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton isn't related to Paris?

Or that Purdue has no Geralds on their team.

I am at work, don't have the time to really look around.
I was thinking you are a UConn fan, but the post didn't ask for UConn fans only, it was basically asking for everyones opinion.
Why do you hate Purdue anyways? Just Curious.

I wouldn't necessarily call myself an Arizona State fan but I love how they've come up there. I'm actually more a Stanford fan than anything. Albeit a continuously frustrated Stanford fan though. I support all the Pac-10 though.

I'm pretty torn on this one. On the one hand, it may be too close to call--and on the other hand, UConn is at home, and it is tough to beat them there. If this Purdue team gets that "deer in the headlights" look because of the UConn mystique, it could be a long night for the Boilers. And then again, say what you will about Tina Charles et al, I really think that Katie, Erin, and Lindsay are the top front line in the country. And I'd put our little freshman point guard up against any other freshman point guard. Plus, I think that one of these days SV's name is going to be right up there with Geno's and Pat's. So...who knows? I do feel that if UConn beats us tonight, they'd better enjoy it, because it won't happen again this year.

Does anyone know if there is any internet radio on this game? I'm on the left coast and won't be able to leave work in time to watch it.

After not being able to predict this game, I did something that I might start doing more often. I used the great powers of Nancy Lieberman to guide me to my prediction. Knowing how "tight" she is with Katie Gearlds and Erin Lawless, I figure that she'll pick Purdue to win the game. Therefore, I'm picking UConn to pull a close game out late.
Nancy says that Tina Charles is by far the best freshman in the country. I predict that she won't be the best freshman in this game. FahKara Malone will be a key to Purdue staying in the game.

Sounds good in theory, but I see an extreme Purdue bias here. Remember, they're playing at Uconn.

Coyle must have gotten lost. The only seniors in that game actually have talent, and what would she want with that?
