After barely setting foot on the court in the first three Hoosier victories of the year - one over then #15 Kentucky - Sarah McKay has had herself quite a coming out party tonight against Dayton.
11/12 from the field
1/1 from 3 point land
5/6 from free throw stripe
28 points, 3 rebounds, 1 block, 2 assists in............ 19 minutes!
The Hoosiers tallied their fourth win of the season 98-71 over Dayton tonight. 98 points, for a team that has struggled the past couple seasons to reach 70, is a spectacular sign, especially with much of the team getting in on the act.
While I was originally really worried about this season, it seems as though Coach Jack has really taken the rings of this team and brought the team together. Leah Enterline and Whitney Thomas have both stepped it up on offense the past two games, and Roberson continues to do a little bit of everything.
Though Notre Dame is down this year, it will be a good game for IU to see where they are at. With a possible matchup with Miami on the horizon, the team will get its first opportunity to take on a bonafide star, which will help them as they head into the Big Ten season.
