It seems to be starting at 7:45 instead of 7 pm according to the audio link.

Yeah, I thought it was Eastern time. But they go by Central time. Is Tennessee central standard time?

Ah. Didn't know that.

Now the webcast isn't working. Hmm. Maybe they turned it off until 7? I hope. This will be a big letdown.

I thought there was something wrong with my WMP, it was working at 7:15 and then it shut off. Evil or Very Mad

You can watch the game from the Terps webcast also.

I'm not so sure where these guys get their info from.

Um...Langhorne's from "Philly", not Monroe, LA.

I was wondering the same thing, they also had Doron being from VA. Isn't Langhorn from New Jersey though?

Yeah, thats what I thought.

Maryland looks good so far. Not rusty at all.

Crystal Langhorne obviously didn't have a pregame meal. She's devouring the MTSU defense.

Yeah I saw that. They showed Toliver's vitals and put Doron's name on the graphic. Oh well. At least they're trying! Laughing

South Jersey, so she claims Philly.

Just an observation: Amber Holt is pretty good. Now I see why Andy tried to keep her at UGA.

I agree. She's very solid.

Yes, but that hair ain't cuttin' it. Shocked

Middle Tennessee sucks on offense, but they are AMAZING when it comes to defensive pressure and taking charges! Shocked

Marrone is playing like she's never played a D-1 game before in her entire life.

WTF was that? Shocked Maryland just gave Givens that lay-up!

Maryland will win this game, but damn...it won't be easy.

38-33 Maryland. Great run at the end of the 1st half by MTSU.

Turnovers killing the Terps.

Yes, Marrone is playing badly, but so is Doron. She travels when she gets trapped or when she stops dribbling. Great defense by MTSU. Holt is pretty good!

She is literally a REDHEAD Laughing

I agree. They are tenacious on the defensive end. Too many "5 seconds on the shot clock!" plays on offense.

Marrone hasn't impressed me. I don't mean to sound mean, but she's a bit....thicker than I thought she was. She's also slow on defense. It's the beginning of the season so I'll give her slack, but I know Brenda isn't right now.

From what I have heard the refs are calling touchy stuff on the Terps and nothing on MTSU. Half the team has 2 fouls.

I agree Marrone looks bad right now.

This is a good game so far.

Amber Holt is tearing it up!! I really like her game.

You would think that Maryland would be use to pressing teams. But MTSU's press is really, really good. Maryland is just charging into MTSU's players whenever they do cross mid-court.

Maryland is in the lead because they are rebounding (Langhorne and Coleman) and because they have shooters all over the court. Coleman and Doron are hitting outside shots and Langhorne is rebounding and putting the ball back in.

Coleman is doing everything, she's scoring, rebounding, dishing, bringing the ball up some, it seems like she's all over the court.

Let's see what happens is the 2nd half.

The officials have called a fairly decent game, imo. Where MD is running into trouble (pun intended) is they aren't figuring out the press...and are running into MTSU players as soon as they cross half-court.

Marissa Coleman is one of my favorite players...she's just a star. If I could have any two players on my UConn team, it would be her & Erlana Larkins.

Everytime I see her I just am left saying "Wow."

She is REALLY good.

Most impressive players on the court: Marissa Coleman & Amber Holt.

...and in a classic moment, an associate head coach gets a 'T'. Heh Laughing .
