The Boilers knocked off the Ohio Girls Basketball Report Legends by a 70-41 count earlier tonight. Erin Lawless looked good in pacing the Old Gold and Black with 21 points, and was joined in the double-figures column by teammates Katie Gearlds (16), Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton (10), and Jodi Howell (10). Biggest problem was a negative assist-turnover ratio -- 17 feeds to 20 surrenders, 14 of which were steals by the Legends. Article here, with link to box score.

GO BOILERS! I am SO psyched for the season to be underway. And I'm visiting Indiana in two weeks and will see them play. Can't wait!
