Khadijah Rushdan, a 5'9" G out of St. Elizabeth's in Delaware and rated a Top 10 player for the Class of 2007, will announce her college decision on Friday.

Quote:
Though Rushdan has been quiet about her favorites, the choice likely is between Maryland and Rutgers. Both schools are close to home, and both programs are among the nation's elite and have a youthful roster.

Maryland won the national championship last season and will have just two seniors on this year's roster. Rutgers went undefeated in the Big East last season and won't have any seniors this season.

MARYLAND! MARYLAND! MARYLAND! (we don't need anyone else going to Rutgers)

Both schools are heavy at guard, it will be interesting to see what her decision is.

She might get some PT if she goes to Rutgers since they're short on PGs.

She'd be better off going to Rutgers since Maryland has Anjale coming in and they've got Sade for a minute.

And if I'm a Rutgers fan...which I sometimes am....I damn sure don't want to have to rely on Piph as a point guard. She's got the skill, but it's like using a Porshe to drive to the corner store.

LSU was listed as the leader on Scout, so I wouldn't count them out. The Final 2, esp. with Maryland there, just seemed odd...especially considering that if Khadijah went to Maryland, they could pretty much have two rotations of just guards...
