| This should be fun to see all the new players and the returning players but most importantly a fresh start to a new chapter. Hopefully we wont run into injuries to start the year off. I'm looking forward to a better year this year. |

Last Friday night, we (the booster club) went to the first practice. I was talking to April McDivitt on the way in & we agreed it was the most optimistic time of year. The team looked way ahead of last year at this time (there's been a rule change that helped those on the quarter system). We have a great schedule--Maryland there, Stanford at home among others, so as my Grandma used to say, hope springs eternal  |
That's a very cool way to kick off the season.  What's April McDivitt up to these day is she on the coaching staff? last I heard about her she was playing in the WNBA. |

She's an assistant coach. She has been since she graduated. She keeps trying for the W in the summer. Don't know whether she'll do it again in 2007.

Good to know, Maybe sooner or later she'll make her way back on a roster spot. |
