They gave the winner a duck (they called it a duck. I thought it looked more like a goose)...so Diana and Sue as captains each got one to hold before the game

isn't it obvious? The winner of the game got to keep their duck.

Yes, I'm not making this up....and no I didn't understand it either.

BTW, how about my darling little Farmington girls in those pictures? And that big good looking guy with them!
