Trade up to the #1 spot with Charlotte and still have the chance for someone like Jackie Batteast at #6? They'd be assured to get Currie.

Note: This is not a rumor, just an idea.

I favor moving up in the draft, but to assure getting Wecker.

Any substantial ideas on what the Mystics should offer to move up?

I agree that Wecker is a better fit for the Mystics than Currie.

i hate to say it, but the cupboard is pretty much bare for the Mystics (trade wise).it would have to mean meek moving if we wanted to keep #6.

PlanC:Meek to indy for #2, 16 and Ebony Hoffman.
imo it would work for both teams.Indy would have the firepower to contend with DET and Cha.Mystics would be able to build toward the future(which MUST be done).

draft Kendra Wecker(#2) Dionnah Jackson (#6) Caity Matter(#16)Kelli Roehrig(#19)

that's my ideal draft,it will never happen, but hey....

BTW trudi's trade screwed up my plans A and B. Rolling Eyes

ok shoot it down...

?!?!?!?!

Do you guys KNOW how impossible that would make VGM? It's been bad enough picking between Mique and Catch the few nights they've both played, now you want us to have to do it thirty-four times a season? Sweet Jesu, you people have sick, twisted imaginations!

Don't get me wrong - I think Ebony is gonna BRING IT this season, but Meek and Mique together again? Whooo!

Too many FAs out there to speculate on trades and picks right now IMO. I wish there were so more signings!

Catch's last game bought my tickets to Seattle. Very Happy She had the consistency without the "injuries." Most impressively, her huge game came when her team was already done for the season.

I know Chamique has had a lot of injury problems, but considering that fact that a change of scenery (to the quiet midwest) might be good for her, I'd give her a chance.
I wonder what Tamika would think of this - lol!

She bought mine too... Most significantly was her getting Player of the Week too, over The Claw. It could have gone either way. Razz
