A lot of questions will be answered.
1. Does Maryland belong with the upper tier or are they just at the higher end of the middle tier?
2. Will Florida State continue to try and solidify a first round bye or will Miami take over the fourth spot in the standings?
3. Which VT and NC State teams will show up tonight?
4. Will BC's streak continue?
Carolina clinches a first round bye with a win and a FSU loss._________________ "People kept saying why are you looking at Maryland, why are you even talking to them? Well, look at us now!" - Crystal Langhorne, NCAA Champion

UMD may be good team but they are also physical, bent on injuring other players. Look at Langhorne and Harper -- they seemed to be ordered by others to do whatever is possible to injure other players.

Impressive margin by Florida St. on the road at Miami, 79-54.
Virginia Tech, NC State, and Boston College all got home wins they had to have, BC barely (57-55 over Georgia Tech).

Obviously you've never seen a Big East or Big Ten women's game before. Those games are even more physical._________________ "People kept saying why are you looking at Maryland, why are you even talking to them? Well, look at us now!" - Crystal Langhorne, NCAA Champion

Not sure how Miami will respond to this, but we'll see. They've got games @ BC, @ FSU, then home v. Duke and GT. Could end up anywhere between 3-1 and 0-4 (and I'm leaning toward the lower end). I'm going to follow them closely these next few weeks.
Virginia Tech will probably end up at 4-10. I'm guessing they'll get a #7-seed in the NCAAs.
NC State will get in with two more wins, as will Boston College. My guess is that one of these teams definitely gets in while the other will have to sweat harder than Gary Williams.

I think they'll need a better conference record than that to reach the NCAAs. Wasn't there some fuss a couple of years back when Florida had a fairly good RPI ranking but didn't make it because of their conference record? |

Yup...talentless oaf indeed. Nevermind she's averaging 11.0 ppg and 6.5 rpg in her only full season as a starter. Nevermind she led the charge to nearly knock off the 'Holes last season in the ACC Tournament. Nevermind the fact that she hung 22 and 10 on Maryland on Super Bowl Sunday right there in front of Lamont Jordan. Nevermind the fact that she's the only remaining player in her class on the Virginia team. Nevermind the fact that, at 6-1, she's playing out of position in the paint and doing a damn good job down there. She's talentless in the eyes of the "elite" fans because she doesn't suit up for Duke or UNC. Well, I guess I like that talentless oaf enough to say that there are few posts in the ACC I'd take over her.

UVA fans complained about how physical Minnesota was in last year's tournament. Maybe Brenda saw the tape.
What kind of record would UVA have at this point if the Hoos played in the Big East, or in the Big Ten? (Yes, I know they lost to our Gophers.)
What about Virginia Tech?
I can see a Big Dance bid for an ACC team with a sub-.500 conference record, but for VT it would be that bid two years in a row: that might strike the committee as a little weird.
