If college athletics ends up with unlimited transfers, it'll be so chaotic. As a fan I think it'll be harder for fans to connect with "our" team.

Totally agree. It's already wrought havoc with my beloved Ducks, tho only one of the defectors is at her 3rd school (Endiya Rogers @ TX a&m). This may help one transfer that came into Oregon this year, (Priscilla Williams - she hadn't yet been cleared to play. Also her 3rd school). But yeah....NOT my idea of "good for *our* game".

The NCAA has been very uneven and capricious with their waivers, granting them when they "feel like it" to whoever they feel like. so one player gets one and another, equally worthy, does not. I think that's probably at the core of the decision.
