| I imagine they'll be playing primarily in blue and yellow. Teams that share an owner with an NBA team also tend to share their colour-scheme. |

| I quite like it too. Fun logo as well, and while I'm not sure I love the colour scheme, at least it's a bit unusual (although somewhat female coded, which may not go down well in some circles). Surprised they didn't use the Warriors colours. |

I think they whiffed across the board;
- the name is meh
- the logo is awful
- the color scheme makes little sense
- the reveal video looks fan made
I’m shocked. It’s like they slapped this together last week and rushed it all out.

Most fans on Reddit and Twitter seem to like the name, logo, and colors.
They're also saying "We get Paige!"
But not so fast. If the league does it the same way as when Atlanta entered (and why wouldn't they,) the expansion team is in the lottery, but not guaranteed the first pick.
In the expansion draft, each team was allowed to protect 6 players.
Let the speculation begin!

Why not though? |
She was a bonafide potential superstar. Attention for the league was paramount. They couldn't have her languishing on an expansion team. They needed her somewhere visible and potentially competitive.

I actually think female coded is a good thing. Part of the reason for the explosion in popularity is the Women’s basketball has reached an audience that likes female coded things.
