There’s going to be some fallout if they don’t find a way to stream this game.

It's showing up on the schedule now. Maybe they bribed Alli with the iPhone to switch her allegiance to Chicago.

STH's are invited to this game. Should be a hot mess like the one last year!

Man, this team is a patchwork of random pieces and strong personalities! Will be fascinating to see how TSpoon manages to herd cats...

Angel is spending the night at the Met Gala before tomorrow’s game

Someone told her they were playing New York without mentioning that it wasn't *at* New York?

I'm sure that's just as productive as what other players are doing tonight

Listen, I just stated an exciting fact. I’m showing some restraint by not fangurling over the makeup and hair (not sure how I feel about the dress, especially after she looked like a goddess at the draft) Laughing

It's the travel I'm worried about for her. If she was at the Met Gala, either she took a flight at ass o'clock in the morning to get back to Chicago and sleep, or she stayed in New York and is flying back today for a game tonight. (Or, I suppose, she just DNPs, but that seems counterproductive.)

It's no worse than playing a back-to-back. Players do that all the time.

So this is pretty much how I expect this matchup to proceed during the regular season. 49-28 at the half.

What? The Sky are winning?

Chicago still laughing at the cowardice and incompetency of Cheryl Reeve. If you cannot take the heat, get out of the Kitchen Reeve.

Chennedy Carter and Jaelyn Sherrod are both very quick but with the ability to maneuver at the same time. I guess some of that maneuverability comes from being short.

I don't know why people are doubting Reese (being drafted @ 7). Yes, she doesn't have a jump shot BUT her game is inside. She can thrive through that. One aspect in her game is that aside from her paint offense/defense/rebounding, she is actually an underrated passer. She is a willing passer.

Am I correct in thinking that Dojkic, Fiebich and N. Sabally (three of the potential final 11) aren't even in town yet?

This was obviously a rough showing for NY does anyone have a chance of pulling a J. Brown and playing there way into the final 11? Malawi? Sherrod?

Is NY basically going to be 6 and a half deep with Sloot, Ionescu, Laney-Hamilton, Stewart, J. Jones, Thornton and sometimes Burke or Davis and players 9-11 are going to be a revolving door of place holders until after the Olympics when we'll maybe settle on Sabally, Fiebich, Dojic or super late pop up Johannes?

I think I saw Sabally in the handshake line in street clothes. I could see Sharrod making the team.

Reese was amazing! Those strong finishes around the rim were impressive.

Imagine how good she would have been if she hadn't gone to the Met Gala

I was shocked by some things last night:
New York looked so bad even with the starters
How many people came to a pre-season game
    The Sky scored 100 points

It was great seeing Diamond back, and the crowd agreed.

Dana is going to have her long-delayed chance to shine this season - always a fan favorite!

STHs got crappy "gifts" - Sky sweatbands and socks, and our STH token to use a special entrance and get some in-arena discounts. The monied STHs got customized jerseys! I was expecting at least a T-shirt, which is why I didn't wear any of mine. My seatmates figured the four-sectioned cardboard box containing our tchotchkes cost more than the stuff it contained! Laughing

We have some rebounders - folks not afraid to get hit under the boards! We could still use some more aggression, but it's already shown some improvement.

Hard to get excited over a pre-season game, but I am! Very Happy
