| O'Grady missed a layup (and then two free throws) and Czinano missed a layup while getting fouled. Can't have that while trying to come back.

The NCAA will not be happy to read about the officiating from this game.
Will be interesting to see if we ever see these three again or will they be in witsec.

I would have preferred South Carolina steam roll them.
(Nothing against Angel and the LSU players. They are fantastic and well deserving..but Kim. Ugh. )

Congratulations LSU. The officiating was terrible, but it was terrible both ways. LSU exposed Iowa’s shoddy defense in a way SC couldn’t. And its bench was outstanding in the first half when LSU had its own foul trouble.
I don’t think anyone will talk about LSU’s non conference schedule.

Turned. It. Off. Sickening display from Kimmy's horrifying outfit to completely incompetent officiating. Officials screwed the pooch in the biggest game of the year.
And..yes, those two bogus offensive fouls on Caitlin took away much of her game. In the biggest game of the year. All the LSU elbows smack in the face = no calls. Complete incompetence.
But at least I had the choice to turn off the putrifying post game.

Iowa finally sunk by three things: poor defense, over-reliance on Clark's Himalayan usage rate, and the most sophisticated and aggressive opposing coach they've ever faced.
The Winningest Woman, despite starting with a nine win team two years ago, despite "not knowing how to schedule," and despite "playing no one" all season, manages to win the National Championship in dominant fashion.
Again, for those who notice and value things other than refs and clothing, we've witnessed this season the greatest rebuilding and turnaround performance by a coach in the history of the sport. |

I'm sure Clark feels like Boston did the other night being able to play a certain way all year and then not being able to get away with it during the biggest game of the season for your team.
