Hopefully looking up that rule she was telling us about the other day.

Reminder that it's bullshit that higher seeds get to host.

That is a wasted TO by Colorado.

Should have saved it for OT.

With OT, she's got a chance of picking some of those up.

damn… Duke’s offense is just too shitty, and they have zero poise. Sad

awful, awful performance down the stretch. maybe they switched in a men’s ball at some point in this game?

Duke had just 10 points between the 4th quarter and OT. That's not gonna get it done.

Way to go, Buffs! Another juicy upset. (Or is it, really?) Tuned in for the OT and never saw a Devilish field goal.

Very much at the game! Exciting and VERY loud. I was sitting next to Kennedy Brown's dad and near Celeste Taylors parents.

Not sure if it was clear by watching on TV, but Q1 was the most horribly officiated quarter I've seen. Duke players were called for breathing and became afraid to even move. The officials got quite a "talking to" between quarters and the rest of the game was called even. Duke had a chance to pull out the victory after being down BIG early but blew it. Then overtime, we saw the team we thought we'd have for the whole season.

Celeste was dazzling in every way except her shooting, which stunk majorly through the entire game. And (lack of) shooting is what doomed this team. Basically Colorado had the right constellation of players (bulky posts + sharp shooters) to withstand Duke's dynamic defense.

It was GREAT to be back in rocking Cameron Indoor Stadium! We saw that Kara could create an exciting team out of virtually thin air. We saw what can happen when a physically gifted player (Celeste) has the green light to go all out and become one of four finalists for National Defensive Player of the Year. We saw Kara blend a team with another onslaught of first year (to Duke) players from the transfer portal. Next year we'll have or first to 5 class of froshies and will need at least 3 carefully selected players from the portal to field another competitive team (posts and shooters). We should start getting elite recruits starting in 2024, now that Kara has shown she can coach young women.

Coach Kara still has some growing and learning to do to become an elite coach. But two things she nailed: getting the players from the portal the team abslutely needed and developing a successful team identity based on strengths and weaknesses of players on the roster.

Make no mistake, this team GREATLY overachieved based on the talent level of the roster Kara was able to assemble. The net was greater than a sum of the arts. We're ecstatic as fans to be back in an exciting environment and can begin to put the dark decade in our past. Having players at the end of the season bubbling with love for the coach is what the doctor ordered. Having alums coming back to watch their beloved program is fun for fans to catch up with them.

It hurts that the team snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. But we had a great chance to go to the Sweet Sixteen, knowing that greatness is in our future.
