Well, that's two straight losses to good but unranked teams. How far will Iowa St fall on Monday?

I watched the entire game, and was personally rooting for The Cyclones. Interesting enough, in its general closeness (statistically, it was pretty much a wash, 'cept for FTs: 5 more made by Baylor).

I couldn't help but thinking (repeatedly) that Fennelly should have implemented more zone defense - Baylor's not stellar from the arc - just to mix things up a bit. DEFINITELY a different outcome had Soares been healthy, but....shouldacouldamightas don't matter a lick.

Kudos, tho, to Nicki for keeping Baylor at the level they are, given the changes they've been through. She has some remarkable talent on her team.
