What's the purpose or benefit of firing a coach when there is no institutional commitment to hire or perform any better?

Especially when they are already going to be looking for a men's coach, where they will clearly be focusing their attention and resources.

Oh, I don't know. I was thinking the very same thing about the men.

Is it possible that any of the topics Coaches, Coach movement 2023, Coaching searches, Coaches on the hot seat and Coaches on the way up could be merged?

Not a fan of coaches who bounce after one season.
Wonder what her buyout will cost Minnesota.

Darn it! She just got here. Oh, well. Best of luck to her at Providence. Looking forward to seeing who KBA hires to replace her.

That is like 4 out of the last six years that Michigan has lost an assistant to a head coaching job.
Melanie Moore (Xavier)
Toyelle Wilson (SMU)
Carrie Moore (Harvard)
Erin Batth (Providence)
Maybe Melanie Moore will return as an assistant. Raegan Pebley and Michelle Clark Heard might be two coaches that might make decent assistants for Michigan. The Wolverines seem to attract some high level assistants and other coaches the last few years.

I am very impressed with the job Robyn Fralick has done at Bowling Green, quickly turning the program back around after a dip in the post-Curt Miller days. She has eight years of head coaching experience but is still pretty young for a head coach. Could she be a candidate at Michigan State, or is that too big of a jump?
Tricia Cullop has done a great job at Toledo, but she's had plenty of opportunities to leave in the past and it seems she doesn't have interest in doing so.

I also wondered about the possibility of Melanie Moore coming back. Also wondered if Shimmy Gray-Miller could be in the mix here or at Wisconsin.
