As I recall in the mid-1990's, a short-lived San Francisco-based magazine called Might published a hoax story of Adam Rich's death. They did it with Adam's consent and acknowledgement.

Yeah, you're right. I though Astin had passed away years ago because I haven't heard of him since the show came out, and I don't recall seeing him in any other TV show or movie since "The Addams Family" ended. Rolling Eyes

He did a couple of episodes of Batman in the 60's. Played the Riddler when Gorshin was unavailable. He later played Buddy Ryan in Night Court in the 80's. (Harry's father.) His catch line as Buddy was, "But I'm feeling much better now." His son was in LOTR.
