c'mon Queenie. We know you 'really, really' want to get in on this again. There has to be some good NY players for you to take!

I think the first time I chose LP going 3-16 from the field with 8 turnovers instead of 9-12 with 10 assists would be the day whichever device I used to discover this information went out the window, up to and including the television. I do not want to risk that happening.

Laughing I knew you would have a good comeback. Thanks for not disappointing.

But seriously, perhaps you take it too seriously. The way the game is set up now you only lose that week instead of the whole year. Shit games are inevitable. One time my 85% volume freethrower went 3-12 (or thereabouts) from the line in a game I had. (she was not on my team the following week) I just hope all my players have their shit games during the same week. And sometimes you get lucky and your opponent's players have just as many shit games that week too! I'm definitely glad to not have money on this game but it is fun to follow more players/teams than I otherwise would do...

Coyotes, one clarification please.
In the rules: "a TF is any F who is over 6’2” "

This is a bit nebulous since I believe we used 6'2" or taller. So...Is a player listed at exactly 6'2" a TF or not?

Thanks.

I think last year, we decided it was 6’2” or taller, because there are not enough quality players taller than 6’2”. Also, because quite a few 6’2 girls play the Center position…

I'd agree with that judgement. 6'2'' or taller is included as a TF.

The draft shall be conducted the same way, reverse snake.

I'm waiting to see if @pureform or anyone else shows up before conducting the draft order which shall be done by...an impartial observer -- perhaps I can convince Queenie to throw their computer out the window after giving me a terrible draft position.

Any other takers for the draft this year? HOWEE??????!?!??!

HAHA! I'm afraid I cannot be *impartial*. (it's just cuz Murdle has won entirely too much at this game, so I'd be inclined to rig things against her)

But....if you're desperate....I could *try*. Razz

Yay! Welcome back OK State!

In any case, I am going to sit down this week and start hashing out details for this season — but I wanted to propose a draft day time for all to have input on. I would like to propose October 29th, 10 AM MST as the draft day to knock out as much as possible. I am also proposing that we start a rolling draft on October 26th in order to try and get a round or two out of the way prior to draft day for the league. Does anyone have any objections or alternate suggestions?

I will post the rules and schedules for later this week. I am also announcing that we will close entries for the league on October 22nd so that I can organize the schedule and post the draft order, so if you haven’t joined by then, please let me know.

I can also live stream a draft lottery on Discord if that works to verify the draft order @undersized post and I can confirm a time for that to work, likely on October 24th unless we have an observer who is willing to post a randomized draft order on October 24th.

Kiddings aside, I am willing to offer my amazing skills for this task (assuming it's the same as the last time I did it?). And I shall pledge to show Myrtlicious the same due fairness as accorded to all other contestants. Razz

I’d prefer if we started a rolling draft on the 26th and then sit down for a scheduled time on the 29th so we can get things rolling a little earlier.

At this juncture, it looks like we have:

1. Undersized Post
2. Adamj95
3. Miracles
4. Tbinta
5. Hoop"S"mom
6. Coyotes
7. thardy929
8. Pureform
9. OKstateguy

Is there a daring 10th player out there that would be willing to play against us?

So have we decided style of play yet?

Roto/Season Points or
Head 2 Head

It's Coyote's thang. He prefers head 2 head like last year.

I would agree that I tend to prefer the H2H -- for me it keeps my attention on a week to week basis and I end up watching games intently hoping that Abby Feit is going to grab that last rebound that I need to win or that she somehow doesn't turnover the ball 8 times in one games. This is something that Undersized and I have gone back and forth on, but the consensus from our end is that the H2H is the right format for the time being. I'm open to other input though as Myrtle likes to take the wrecking ball to the league in the season long format. Twisted Evil
