Not sure what to make out of Avenida signing Onyenwere. Especially after she left Girona early last season.

I wonder what the actual reason for leaving Girona was. It's fairly riskless if they just expect her to occupy a Cotonou spot domestically, but if playing time was a factor, then it could be an issue again.

Looks like Erica McCall was dropped from Avenida roster, for Euro League matches and Onyenwere was added. McCall still expected to play in Spanish league games.

The team from Salamanca has already registered the change of non-community player for next Wednesday's duel in Würzburg against DVTK HUN

Completed the change of non-EU players at CB Avenida for the Women's Euroleague. If the charro club had already released Moriah Jefferson -an ankle injury- so that Bridget Carleton could debut this past Thursday against Sopron Basket (53-75) in a match in which he also had a spectacular debut with 17 points and 5 of 7 in triples, now CB Avenida has already taken the step to register its latest signing, the North American with a Nigerian passport Michaela Onyenwere. In this way, the one who is left out of the two places allowed for the Euroleague is Erica McCall-she no longer appears on the charro club's roster for the competition-.

In this way, Michaela Onyenwere will be able to debut this Wednesday in Würzburg in the duel of the sixth day against the Hungarian DVTK HUN-Therm. McCall has had an irregular participation in the charro team so far -in Sopron, without going any further, he was left without scoring in about 19 minutes on the track- and the club has chosen to occupy that position with the latest signing that, by the way, in Spain she does not occupy a place as a foreigner as she has a 'Cotonou' passport due to her Nigerian nationality - McCall, Carleton and Onyenwere will therefore be able to play against Girona this Sunday.

I get that they just take everyone's group results and throw them into a giant ladder, but it does seem a little silly to go through all this and then London Lions and Villeneuve d'Ascq get to play each other two more times in the next round.

The punishment that we all deserve after London Lions decided to miss that free throw.

Rachel Maenpaa makes her WNBL debut at the age of 38. It is easy to forget how many Americans settle in Australia after playing below the national league level there.

Is there a way to search at wbasketballblog.com? I used to plug names in the search box at WB247 to find where players were that year (or when they stopped playing for Team X) but I can't find a search box at the new host.

It does not look like anything within the theme allows for that.

I guess the best method would be starting at the roster page and then using tags for whichever country needs to be searched?

Cool thanks, I'd forgotten/lost that rosters page. That should work for most of my searches.
