Has the Turkish League said what they're doing with their schedule? Because they missed a bunch of games due to the earthquake, didn't they? Just throwing on a bunch of extra weeks at the end is obviously a bigger deal this year with prioritization kicking in (and the number of star-level players playing in Turkey).

They had to push back four rounds, but they are still set to finish the regular season on March 31st due to some significant compression and use of weekdays. Cukurova is about to play five games in nine days. I have not heard whether they are still planning on playing the Turkish Cup or not. There is also going to be some trickiness if Galatasaray and Cukurova also advance in Europe, but they should be able to finish the quarterfinals by the end of EuroLeague. Some players may get some fines that they were not expecting, but I think that they should have plenty of time to finish before the start of the WNBA season.

Exclamation Exclamation Yes indeed, thank you!!

While the NCAAs are prepping for games this weekend, today is still a great bball day! The final games of the Euroleague Quarterfinals start today at noon EST:

https://www.fiba.basketball/euroleaguewomen/22-23/games

Of course, as Richyyy predicted Laughing, there are only 3 games as Fener swept their series against Sopron.

Also, today is the final week of AU. Games start at 6PM on League Pass. If you tuned in the 1st week and weren't intrigued, please give it another try. Know that the 1st week is like a pre-season which never looks particularly great for any league...at any level.. However, the intensity has greatly increased over this short season.

Happy Hump Day, all!!

EuroLeague Women Final Four announced to be held in Prague, which might help it be a little more competitive. Could give USK a little help to get past Mersin in the semis and then a home crowd behind them to hopefully be competitive with Fenerbahce in the final.

They leave so little time between announcement and event or I might even have thought about going. Prague's supposed to be a nice place to visit.

The first two games of the quarterfinals will be Saturday and Monday, except Galatasaray will get to push their second game back so that they can play EuroCup. That makes it 7 games in 13 days for Cukurova.
