interesting bounce back to a rough start of an offseason
Heideman/Harris
Hayes/Carrington
Bonner/Allen
A. Thomas/
B. Jones/Nelson-Ododa
and some combination of Walker, Anigwe, Holmes, Cox Herbert-Harrigan to fill out the front-court or a pick two with Clouden rounding out the perimeter not too bad, if they could swing one more vet minimum instead of one of the options above they would have a pretty solid rotation maybe this could be a sneaky suitor for Stokes

Yes, Hayes is good when she plays and she has the UConn tie.
She's also 33 years old with, like, 30 injury scares and one or two actual injuries per season, plus an unsettling willingness to fuck off to random countries to play 3x3 for Azerbaijan.

Kind of move that screams "we definitely still think we're good, and we're definitely still trying to win" rather than "we're open for business, what's your best offer for Thomas, BJones or Bonner?" Can't say I've been wildly impressed by what I've seen of this year's college class past the top two or three, so I don't think it's wildly unreasonable. Although it's a decent return for Atlanta for a player who would've been a true unrestricted free agent if she hadn't disappeared to play for Azerbaijan for the final few days of last season. |

They just signed her on Thursday. That's a bizarre sequence of events.

Yeah, that one's particularly weird, especially on a team that was paying even less attention to the 15-player limit than most of the rest of the league. Maybe it was a favour to her agent to get her a job overseas, or maybe she failed the medical just before camp. |

She did go to the HC's alma mater, so maybe a favor to Purdue? It's weird

Ashten Prechtal
I'm sure she won't make the final roster, but it has to be good for her overseas prospects that she's made the first couple of cuts. |
Yeah, 6'5 stretch fours can usually find a spot. |
I've been a Prechtel supporter, but players who averaged 7.6 minutes per game and barely shot 30% from three usually don't. |
