"New York pretty much has to win their remaining three games in order to make the playoffs."

The announcer recalls Maybrey shaking Julie Allemand as she does it to Dangerfield. "Somewhere Julie Allemand is saying 'she did that to me'".

They said in an NBA TV WNBA show that Han Xu had the 3rd best 3-point percentage in the league.

Ionescu apparently couldn't get it to a rolling wide open Xu as McCowan double teamed her.

What happened on that jump ball? Did someone other than the jumpers touch it before the Lib player (gotta learn how to spell her name) grabbed it?

NY should be renamed the NY Bombers.

Great win for New York. Still a difficult road to make the playoffs, but you can only play one game at a time.

That’s very true and part of why NY is so erratic. That said, when a team moves the ball well and everyone gets their shots in a rhythm, that makes it a lot easier to shoot. We’ve seen games where teams have taken NY out of that and we’ve seen games where they don’t make the easy pass. Sabrina tried to take the last game over completely and while that has generally been a plus, on Monday it wasn’t. Interestingly, Sandy took the blame for that with her play calling after the game. But yesterday Sabrina made simpler plays and in the second half took what the defense gave. Also because Sami got hot, it put Sabrina into situations where she had more driving lanes to the basket. One-on-one, Sabrina is very hard to stop.

In this rather insane 4-way tiebreaker, Minnesota and Atlanta would make the playoffs, as per WNBA fan nation.

In a two-way tiebreak with Atlanta I think NY would own it but I have to check on that.

The Liberty have a better record vs. teams .500 or better than Atlanta. So if NY splits with Atlanta and are in a two-way tie for a playoff spot, they will get in.
