Aces clinch home advantage in the first round with a win AND a Mystics loss

Is that Crystal Langhorne sitting next to Megan Rapinoe?

The Aces game plan is fast break and jacking up threes Confused

For all the hoopla surrounding Hammon at the beginning of this season, the Aces will finish with a worse record than last year Confused

Yeah she works for the Storm

I didn't realize Pokey was an assistant in Seattle.

Stewie getting lots of homer/superstar calls in this one.

In fairness they have had to deal with the absence of Liz. Love her or hate her, she IS a presence in the middle. And they basically went from having the best bench in the league to practically having none. Not sure any of that can be attributed to Hammon.

Hamby is coming off the bench now.

yeah, for this game. But will she next game? And that means Stokes Shocked is starting. Bay Bay's return has helped the bench...at least a little, but they went most of the season without her as well.

What does Jackie Young have to do to get a foul call in her favor.

Stewart is taking over MVP in this quarter

Shut up Lobo. You don't know when Hammon called for the time out.

That phantom foul was a flashback of the Evans foul on Canada. The first game of the season Sky vs. Sparks.🤨

Sue should of been in the game at the end. Your down 8 in those last seconds. Should of kept her on the court in maybe her last home game

Are you talking about when Lobo claimed nobody established possession of the ball? I mean, Stokes did dribble the ball, dribbled herself into the corner.

Maybe? It’s definitely her last home game in the regular season. She’ll have another home game in the playoffs, unless she doesn’t play.

You sure about that? Seattle only has a half-game lead on the Mystics, and they have a much harder schedule in the final week (@CHI, @MIN, @LVA, versus a home/at-home against the Fever for the Mystics). If they swap places in the standings, and the Washington sweeps in the first round, this was it.

I don't think the record says everything. This iteration of the Aces seems much more formidable in the playoffs. Which has been their issue despite all their talent.

What are you basing that opinion on, when this iteration has not yet been to the playoffs?

I said seems, did I not? It's a subjective opinion based on their quality of play this season. Did they lose a couple extra games? Sure. I still believe this is a much more dangerous squad than they've ever been. I think Becky's coaching has brought out the best in Plum and Gray is as great as ever.

I could be wrong, but I believe they will win the championship this year.

And I said "opinion," did I not? I asked what you were basing your opinion on, I wasn't asking you to give a detailed analytical breakdown.
