Just curious - do your coaches has some type of "tweet" that will alert the fans that something is coming?

Many UVA fans already caught up with Coach Mox's tweet - whenever she said "WAHOOWA!" - it means she picked up a recruit or a transfer. Needless to say, UVA fans are loving it so much. Yesterday, Coach Mox just did do that and it energized the fan base.

So fun and refreshing thing to see.

Jillian Brown of Northwestern goes to Virginia. This is great progress for Coach Mox's program. I think this is it for Virginia. Only one player who transferred out and added 6 players in.

It is not a matter of IF but WHEN that Virginia Cavaliers is BACK!!!

HVL as a PG would be something. She is not a scorer and a volume shooter. She is 0 parts a facilitator.

I hope those poor girls didn't have any notions about starting games as freshmen.

Never underestimate the *magic* of Kim.... Razz I mean, she had Didi Richardson playing at point during a very successful season at Baylor. Shocked

I wonder what Mulkey can do with Morrow. She scores a ton, but when I saw her live I came away completely unimpressed. I don't think I had ever seen star look like she was putting so little effort on the court.

I hope every LSU game has one camera focused on the TEN players on the bench at any given time. That should be amusing. I hope they'll be as happy sitting and counting NIL money as they have been in actually playing the game, cuz their playing days are over.

That focus could be applied to many if not most of the teams across the country. Lots of frosh and probably sophomores are going to be seeing relatively little playing time.

Seems as though Morrow didn't even take her scheduled visit to S. Carolina.

Quote:
. . . the Tigers have further strengthened their stronghold over the top spot while spurring early talk of the arrival of a college superteam and a potential championship repeat.

After winning the program's first national title, LSU will take the court in November significantly more talented than we last saw it.

Aneesah Morrow's move to LSU and the rise of the college superteam?

Maggie Vick, (6'3 So F/C, Morristown, TN), late of Iowa State, all the way out to Pepperdine. Good luck, kiddo. Maybe you'll get off the bench there.

TCU added Jaden Owen from Baylor.

The quality of Big 12 women's basketball should be taking another step forward this year.

ATHENS, Ga. – Asia Avinger (pronounced AV-in-JER), a 2023 All-Mountain West Conference performer at San Diego State, will transfer to the University of Georgia women's basketball team, head coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson announced Sunday.

In two seasons at SDSU, Avinger established herself as one of the top players in the Mountain West. She was an All-Freshman Team member in 2022, before landing on the All-Conference squad this past year.

The 5-foot-7 guard is a red-shirt Junior and will have three years of eligibility remaining at Georgia (w/Covid year option).

James Madison has added Hevynne Bristow (6'1 G, Brooklyn, NY) as a grad transfer from Ohio State. I daresay she'll do better in the "burg than she did in Columbus, and she did okay in Columbus, but was a reserve there.

Stanford transfer Agnes Emma-Nnopu (5'11 Jr W, Ocean Grove, Victoria, AU) has wound up at TCU.

GA Tech's Carmyn Harrison (6'2 So F/C, Memphis, TN) lands at Belmont;

Tionna Herron is headed to Texas.

https://twitter.com/ExpressNews/status/1658974530881060864

If she can come back 75-100% of where she was before heart surgery, Texas is going to have a formidable front-court(if Jones and Moore can also stay healthy).

Kai Miller, formerly of Rutgers, has grad transferred to Memphis. Looks like Ales Simmons is assembling a pretty decent squad.
